How to do Body Spa at Home Post Holi 2021

I am sure you must all be very tired after playing Holi with the closed ones. I hope you have maintained the social distancing while dancing to the disco numbers with the best people in your life. I really wanted you to be relaxed after such a hectic and tiring festival. For the same, I prepared step by step guide on how you can do body spa at home post Holi 2021.

Pull up your sleeves and let's dig into the steps to get your body cleaned up and relaxed. 😀

  1. Preparing your skin a night before: The first step is to give a relaxing massage to your entire body with the help of either body yogurt or body butter. I personally love The Body Shop's British Rose Body Yogurt but you can choose any product of your choice.
  2. A good sleep, complimentary: Once you are done with the first step, the second step is to sleep for good 6-8 hours. This would help the body yogurt/body butter to get drenched inside your skin like a pro and do its magic.
  3. Take a quick shower: Before moving on to the next set of steps, you need to take a quick shower with lukewarm water. This will eliminate all the cream from your body, leaving it to be hydrated and moisturized.
  4. Grab your body oil: I would highly recommend you to use any body oil from Forest Essentials. The good ness of natural ingredients help your body do wonders. It adds shine to your skin and keeps the moisture intact. Or you can anyway opt for any body oil of your choice. Use ample amount of oil if your skin is on the dry side like mine. Massage onto your skin for good 15-20 minutes till the oil gets absorbed.
  5. Meditate for few minutes: Though you can take the shower right away but, I would recommend you to sit down for a bit and meditate. This step would help calm your senses and try to concentrate on your breathing. Thank god for everything he has blessed you with and you will surely going to see the difference the way you perceive the world.
  6. Set the shower settings to hot: Take an extra quick shower with hot water to drain all the oil from your skin. The best thing about the body oils is that the product sticks to your body even after you have rinsed it thoroughly, which is a great plus point.
  7. Lay hold of shower gel and a loofah: Now that your body is wet, pour the required amount of your favorite shower gel on loofah. Lather up the product as it would clean your skin pretty well. Take your time to do this, for about 5-10 minutes.
  8. It is the time for body polish: Personally, I always opt for chocolate or coffee rich body polish. You can select the one you like to use the most. This step would remove all the dead skin and plump up your skin overall.
  9. Dive your skin into moisturization: Once you are out of the shower, damp your body dry. Now, the only step left is to apply good amount of moisture on to your skin. Make sure you massage well while doing this, leaving no product unattended.
  10. And you are done: The body spa at home procedure has now come to an end. I am pretty sure that your skin must have enjoyed this pampered session.
