Hey guys! I hope you all are doing great and thank you so much for stopping by my blog.

So, we have already hit the monsoon season and I personally thoroughly enjoyed the amazing days of heavy rains in the capital city of India. The monsoon season lats from Jul to mid September. And, during this time it really gets important to take very good care of our skin and hair. Skin care in monsoon can actually help your skin to look as flawless as ever.

I am sure you all have a set monsoon skin care routine and today, I am going to add some of the handy tips and tricks in order to help making your skin the best in the world.

1. Frequently wash your face: During the season, skin becomes extremely irritating and sweaty to look at. It will be beneficial for your skin if you practice washing your face thrice a day. I know it is a bit of hard work but it will surely pays off once you see visible results on your face. And note to use organic skin care products only to avoid any kind of extra problems causing to your skin.

2. Do not forget to exfoliate your skin: There has been many complaints about the oily skin during this season. Oily skin care tip here is to scrub your face at least twice a week. If you have extra sensitive skin, then cut the process to once a week. The scrubbing removes excess oil from your face, which gives you supple and beautiful skin at the end of the day.

3. Protect your skin from the Sun: The sunlight hits straight onto your face as soon as you step out of the house at this time of the year. You can curb this problem from your life by simply using a sunscreen. It would be better if you opt for organic skin care brand for this purpose. And a quick note here is to never forget applying your sunscreen 15 minutes before you leave the house.

4. Keep your skin hydrated: The best monsoon skin care tip anybody would give is to drink ample amount of water. If you ask me personally, then I just love water to the core. I drink 10-12 glasses of water each day. It just helps my skin be hydrated plus it also makes me feel full and I do not crave for eating anything else. This practice helps in fighting with many problems related to skin, hair and in the weight loss journey as well.

5. Say no to heavy makeup: I know how much you love applying makeup but this season is nay to do that. I am not saying to stop applying it altogether but lower down on the frequency and also, put very very very very minimal amount of the makeup products on your face. During this weather, you tend to sweat a lot and you do not want to look like a pig after all your makeup is drained off from your face. Also, if you apply makeup, it can clog your pores, thus, causing breakouts.

6. Organic skin care products only: Skin care in monsoon becomes a tedious task if you do not have the right products with you. During this time, make it sure that you opt only for organic skin care products. This is because they are away from harmful chemicals like parabens, sulphates, etc. And to make your skin look gorgeous, you have to religiously follow a strict monsoon skin care regime.

7. Maintain a healthy diet: I know how much you crave to eat snacks and oily food during this time along with a hot cup of tea. But, it is advisable to avoid eating such heavy meals as they can make your skin more devastated. Oily skin care routine also calls for chucking off oily food from your diet. Be more inclined towards fruits, soups, juices and light meals throughout the day.
