We all are witnessing a hard time due to the adverse effects of COVID-19. I feel so bad when I see depressed and sad faces around me. I think we need to get together in order to stay motivated. And that is the reason why I wanted to share my personal tips and tips on how you can stay motivated during such a crucial time.
Let me start with those 5 ways, which will eventually help you stay motivated and mentally positive.
Spend at least one hour with yourself
The busy schedules just do not allow you to keep up with yourself. That is why you need to take out at least an hour from your day. I personally love exercising this tip. I sit down at night and think about what went right in the entire day. This helps me to prepare for the next day in advance. Try this tip, you will fall in love with yourself all over again.
Write down your feelings
No matter what type of feelings you hold inside - good or bad, just pen it down. Bad feelings will always teach you a lesson and good ones will leave a bright smile on your face. Both the phases are different and unique at the same time. Try to write down the happenings of the day in few lines. When you will look back and read those lines, your eyes will be filled with happy tears.
Adopt to live healthily
Trust me, I am following this for the past few years and the changes I have experienced are amazing. I am not saying to cut down on your favourite junk food but you need to set a limit. I cheat once a week and that too in one of the meals I take. This way, your cravings don't grow and you live a healthy life. Eat healthy, exercise 30 minutes for five days and sleep for 6-7 hours, you'll feel the difference.
Read motivational quotes
You will find plenty of booklets that showcases a quote for every day. I simply ask Alexa to help me here or I surf the internet. The usage of words helps you feel everything is going to be alright. There has to be a belief in what you read. And at the end of the day, remember, God is there to take care of you and your loved ones. If you just want to listen, then opt for podcasts, you will be on cloud 9.
Do what you really like
I am sure you must have few hobbies that you love doing. I personally love singing, colouring, doing makeup or just pampering my skin. During this time, try to find your passion, something you can do 24X7. This is because you won't be bored. If you do not have anything to do, then I can suggest two options. Either sit down at a quiet place and practise meditation or listen to soothing songs. Thank me later, loves!
