We all know that pandemic days are here and there is no denying from the fact that we are fighting with COVID-19 day and night. During this time, immunity booster foods have entered into the food fashion. We are searching for 100% drinks or foods, which will boost our immunity levels like a pro.

Keeping the same thing and motive in mind, today I have come up here to discuss about the top 5 foods for immunity.

Turmeric Powder

This magical and ancient Indian spice contains high levels of curcumin, which helps increasing the immunity at a great level. Even the famous "haldi ka doodh" is best to fight many problems like body ache, cough and could, etc. If you intake this spice in your daily meals, chances are there your immunity will increase. And many of us in India are adding this as one of the main ingredient in our curries and mail course meals.


Now, this super food is packed with Vitamin E and healthy fats. It helps the children in keeping their mind sharp and adults to keep their immunity strong. This only helps gaining immunity but also is helpful in controlling diabetes, weight loss and PCOD and PCOS. It is advisable to have only one cup of green tea throughout the day for best results.


Foods for immunity is incomplete without mentioning garlic in the list. It contains high concentration of sulfur, which further helps in increasing the immunity. Garlic is something, which is included in any and every cuisine in the world as it adds that perfect taste to the dish. No matter if you are making an Indian dish or western, this ingredient plays a very important role.

Vitamin C Rich Fruits

Citrus fruits are the best in case you want to increase the immunity. These include oranges, limes, lemons, tangerines, etc. The logic is that such fruits increase the production of white blood cells, which fights against many infections. If you eat Vitamin C rich fruits, it will surely helps your immune system to build like a perfectionist.
