As I am trying to write different on my blog, I thought to start sharing my love for poetry and short stories with all of you. This one is really special! Tomorrow is my mom’s birthday and I am that one lucky girl on this planet, who shares her birthday with her mom.
There is so much I want to tell to my mother but sometimes, gestures are not enough. So, I thought to pen down a sweet poem for her. And here it is!
The shine of your eyes enlighten me,no matter how much I gave you in return.
The gaze of your aura profound me,
thank you for the lessons you made me learn.
Be it at the time i was born or today,
you have always stood like a rock besides me.
You are my true problem solver, mom, as you helped
me clear all the obstacles and then, I was free.
You’ll be my first and the last love,
nobody can match up to your level of excellence.
I won’t mind fighting with this entire world for you,
people may go to hell or against me have any offence.
