This Bollywood Actress is Getting Paid More Than the Actors!

Can you believe that there is a Bollywood actress who is being paid much more than her male counterparts in the same movie? Well, believe it or not but that’s the truth. I am talking about the soon to be released movie Padmavati. The movie is being directed by the renowned Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has given a number of super hits and blockbusters to the industry.

I am talking about Deepika Padukone. Deepika Padukone, the leading actress of Bollywood and definitely one of the most successful actress in today’s time. Deepika will be next seen in Bhansali’s movie Padmavati. She will be sharing the screen space with rumored boyfriend Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. And both these male actors are also doing quite well in their respective career. But both of them have been paid a remuneration of 10 crore each and Deepika has been paid a whopping sum of 13 crore. Now, Sanjay leela Bhansali has always said that Padmavati is a female centric film. The film belongs to Deepika Padukone. And thus complete justice is being given to the leading lady.



Now, that’s totally commendable not only in film industry but also in real life. When all over the world people are discussing that men and women are equally talented but even then women are being underpaid. So, this is a great step by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for women empowerment. We are only hoping that may be the noble thought will soon catch up in the entire country and world.
