Nail Art Today: Water Marbling Nail Art feat Sally Hansen: Design and tutorials

Hey everyone! I hope you all doing great!!

Water marbling nail art has always been in fashion since very long and I was always scared to try it. Finally, I decided to give it a try and I think as a beginner in water marbling, I did justice, rest as always you guys will decide. Heheheheh!!!! :D

Let's have a look at the design first. :D

I'll not say that this is easy to do, you really need a lot of practice to achieve water marbling nail art. In the image above, the results you can see was after 3 trials. YES!!!! It was really hard but I'm not trying to scare you ladies, you can easily do it with practice.

For me, I loved the results as it was my first time tag. :D
Here I have used couple of Sally Hansen polishes from their Xtreme Wear range.
I started off with white base. Followed by that, I used 3 polishes, namely, Mellow Yellow (360), Coral Reef (405) and Pacific Blue (420).

PICTURE TUTORIAL

Steps:

  • Apply your base coat first.
  • Apply 2 thin coats of white polish.
  • Fill a plastic bowl with water at room temperature.
  • Start dipping drops in the bowl one by one to make a circle.

  • Make a pattern with a toothpick. Always have a paper cloth on other hand to clean the toothpick and it doesn't merge the design.
  • When you are satisfied, dip your finger on the pattern you like.
  • Keep your finger inside the bowl for sometime.
  • Take out your finger on paper cloth.
  • Clean around the cuticles with a q-tip dipped in the nail polish remover.
  • Apply a layer of top coat and done.

I hope you found this pictorial easy to achieve this design and try out this nail art design and flaunt your beauty via nails.
