Music and Mountains Hillside Cafe

Hey world! Missed me?

Yes, I have been way too far away from my blog since many months, now. I was doing perfectly fine but a lot of work was happening on my blog, which is the only reason for not being active here. You have no idea how much I missed writing these blogs for each one of you, my lovelies. Anyhow, I am back with a bang now and I promise to deliver best of the blog posts to you.

For today, I am going to share my views on this amazingly designed cafe in South Delhi, by the name, Music and Mountains Hillside Cafe. I went on a date with my best friend, and this cafe was my choice. Just with the vibes of the cafe's name, I so wanted to visit this heavenly beautiful place and I am glad to make this decision.

I wanted to try some drinks this time, so we opted for few accompanied with delicious cuisines as well. Let me kick start this post by telling you everything about what we ate and sipped in.

Kingfisher Ultra (beer): 325

I tasted beer for the first time! And I must tell you the experience was great. The taste was hell good and the giant beer glass completed the overall feel of the same. It was light and not at all bothering my throat with harshness, as many of the drinks so have that nature, you know.

Wines and roses: Rose Wine Sangria with raspberry, fresh strawberry and honey soaked almonds: 575/pitcher 2650

I have always been a big fan of WINE and simply love the essence of it. This time I tried Sangria, which tasted just right for me. There were hues of strawberry (my favorite!), wine, sweetness and that perfect blend of perfection and wine. From the very first sip to the last one, I thoroughly enjoyed this drink. And wallah! Just look at the presentation and that royal looking glass! Love, love and more love.

Silver lead pizza with olive tapenade bell peppers mushrooms and caramelized onions: 645

This thin crust pizza is the best thing I had! I have tried many thin crust pizzas in the past but this had the taste and flavors, which I personally love my taste buds to rely on. Loaded with healthy veggies, I liked every bit of the bite I had. There was actually no need to sprinkle any oregano or chilly flakes on the top and this was itself a complete dish.

Emily’s baked nachos with melted cheese, sour cream and country style refried beans: 430

Who does not like nachos? I know the world loves it and so am I. It was accompanied with 2 sauces and I love each of them. One was tangy and other was subtle. Both the sauces has its own originality and that is the most amazing thing I loved about these. The nachos were presented nicely, filled with cheese on the top. There is no doubt in saying that the taste was yummy and filling as well.

Lake Mist penne and fusilli topped with Italian red sauce, parmesan cheese and parsley – v: 545/ nv: 615

Last but not the least, how we could afford missing eating pasta? We opted for mixed sauce pasta and this what was presented to us. The taste was good, no doubt, but the pasta was little under cooked. The penne and fusilli were slightly hard to eat but overall, the dish was delicious.

St. Clare's Tiramisu - 395

And finally, we topped our grand lunch with this desert. I fell in love with the presentation at first and when I tasted this beauty, it took to a whole new world. As I am a big fan of coffee, I loved the powdered coffee on the top of this desert and rest, you will come to know once you taste this pretty and yummy desert.

The staff is really good and help you decide what would be best for you to order. The service is little slow but it is totally worth waiting. The elite class crowd sum up the feel of this place and I am pretty you are going to love it as much as I did. Here are some of the pictures of the ambiance.
