I hope you all are doing great and thanks for your visit.
On 11th April, 2018, I went on a delicious ride at Cafe NH 8, which is located inside the lavishly made Radisson hotel in Gurugram. I am on a diet these days but the delicious Punjabi food at the venue made, rather forced me to break all those rules. Punjabi food is famous all over the world and I got the opportunity to taste all the yummy flavors under one roof.
In the meantime, as I am telling you about the event, you will also be getting the glimpse of the event and of course about the dishes I tasted there.
I was warmly welcomed by the staff. I got my hands on the welcome drink first, which was the Jaljeera. It has small cubes of pineapple and it tasted delicious, with no doubt. The drink was refreshing and energetic at the same time. Afterwards, I thought first to take pictures and then start indulging in the Punjabi flavors.
I first tasted the vegetables. I loaded my plate with Pindi Chana, Corn Salad, Tomato and Peanut Salad, Chole Salad, Dal and other vegetables. I followed up my dinner with more vegetables and bread. For the sweet dishes. I tasted Rabri, Apple Pie, Mango Ice-cream, Barfi and Sugar Free sweet dish.
There were many interesting elements at the venue like they decorated the entire Cafe with Punjabi theme. There was also a thela at the entrance to offer you welcome drinks like chaaz, lassi or jaljeera. The bar was also themed the same way. There were tiny glasses on which Punjabi words were written like kudi, munda or desi.
I topped off the yumminess with a glass of Red Wine!
