Today, I’m going to review a gel nail polish on my blog for the first time. The gel polish I’m talking about is by Lakme Absolute from their Gel Stylist range in the shade ‘Scarlet Red’.

How To Use:
- Apply your base coat
- Load the brush and swipe of the excess from one side
- Apply it on your nails- just a drop to cover your entire nail (start from the middle)
- Make sure you apply thin coats to avoid mess
- Once everything dries, apply a layer of top coat
My experience with Lakme Absolute Gel Stylist ‘Scarlet Red’ Nail Lacquer:
Lakme Absolute Gel Stylist ‘Scarlet Red’ Nail Lacquer comes in a round shape nail polish bottle packaging with black cap. The bottle fits in your handbag perfectly which makes it travel friendly. The consistency is slightly thick as it is a gel polish and not a regular with smooth texture after application. The brush applicator is really nice and covers your nails in one stroke itself. It does give a smooth and professional finish to your nails. It is very much expensive for a nail polish but if we look at the quality and quantity, I’d still like to pay maximum of 250 bucks, not more than that.
One thing you need to keep in mind while working with these gel polishes, you need to apply thin coats. Thin coats means thin coats, mind it! I made a mistake and loaded the brush entirely and then onto my nails, it ended up in a mess. First coat dries quickly in like 1 or 2 minutes but the second coat takes forever to dry. It has a unique formula but it didn’t impress me at all and lived up to the expectations.
If you can’t sit for hours to wait your manicure to dry completely, just don’t waste your money and energy. I wasted my money on this product so I want to warn my readers from doing so. It is really not worth the price plus doesn’t dry!

Lakme Absolute Gel Stylist ‘Scarlet Red’ Nail Lacquer is a pretty shade but the brand didn’t lived up to the expectations this time. It is really a waste of money and energy if you buying this product. I won’t recommend this product to you as it takes forever to dry and doesn’t lasts your manicure for long. I don’t want to misguide my readers! Keep a watch out guys!
