Himalaya Herbals Protein Hair Cream: Review, Swatch

Hey guys! I hope you all doing great and thanks for your visit!

I never fell in love with my hair! There are number of products which I tried on my dull, lifeless, thin and short hair but nothing really worked for me. And today I’m going to review a hair cream from Himalaya Herbals; let’s check out if this product did any justice to my hair type or not.

Price & quantity: Rs. 100/- (price hiked) for 175ml

Shelf life: 3 years

Availability: Buy online on Amazon

Product description: A unique herbal formulation with extra nourishment of natural proteins derived from Chickpea and Wheatgerm. Enriched with Eclipta and Amla that promote hair growth!

Ingredients: In the image below.

How to use: Use daily before and after hair wash. Massage gently on scalp and hair, leaving it for an hour before shampooing. Apply to damp hair after every wash for all day extra nourished and stronger hair.

My experience with Himalaya Herbals Protein Hair Cream:

Himalaya Herbals Protein Hair Cream comes in a big round plastic tub with green cap. Further to keep the product safe, it is sealed with foil paper cover. The product is travel and budget friendly but not hygienic; because you need to dig in your finger to pour out the product. It has a creamy consistency with smooth texture. Hair absorbs the cream quickly but it sometimes it leaves your hair strands very thick to touch.

The hair cream is white in color and soothing fragrance. But somehow I felt it is an average product for hair. It doesn’t helps in hair growth which I experienced. It does nourish your hair well and leaves them soft and manageable. But still this cream didn’t work well on my hair type. When you apply this cream after shampooing, it helps to detangle the hair nicely without any problems.

It is a decent product to try and you’ll be completely disappointed but will not completely impress you either. I’d recommend this hair cream; just give it a try, it might work for you.

  1. Both before and after shampoo as directed by the brand is quite a task. Glad you reviewed, I'm skipping this for my dry hair.
