'Love Like A Love Song' is the new book, which is written by Nikita Singh. She is probably one of the most popular authors in India and she always comes up with tricky yet sweet love stories. I could not wait more and went to the bookstore and grabbed a copy of her new book. Though I finished reading it last week itself, but didn't got time to put it in a frame and publish a review blog post.
But now, as I have finished reading the same, I am ready to share my review on this book. The book has been divided into 5 sections, and likewise, I'll be telling you about those 5 parts first, let's proceed.

PART 1: The first part of the story tells you about the bubbly and chubby Maahi nd her lifestyle. It tells you about her mother, father, her brother Sarthak, her room-mate Gunjan and her boyfriend Kishan. The journey of pain started in the very first phase of the story as Maahi and Kishan wanted to separate. But the part is designed in such a way that at last nobody could make out what must have happened. I'm too confused about what is coming up next. Well! For that you need to scroll down and read the gist of second part of the book.
PART 2: And they broke up! Maahi and Kishan did part their ways, which confirmed the beginning of this Part Two. Part Two starts from the point where it is shown that Maahi is now back to her home town. She couldn’t stay in Hyderabad as everything reminded her of Kishan. Now she is at home with her family but she is not happy here either. Her parents are concerned about her future that what she wants to do in life and studies. But Maahi always said she don’t want to go back. Her mother went mad one day but her father made his wife understand to give some more time to their daughter. In the meantime; Maahi discussed everything with her best friend Rohit. He advised her to go as per her parents wants but that didn’t impressed her. Rohit finally helped Maahi to get a job at Forth Eye Apps as the owner was Rohit’s friend. Maahi was not happy with her job but still went on with the same. Just few months were left from her college to be started as she finally chose to study economics, to which her mother too agreed. But she got another offer from Cozy Coffee (where she used to have refreshments and met Laila, her second best friend). She accepted the jo but lied to her parents. Will her parents will ever try to understand her? This is the same question, which keeps on popping in, in Sarthak’s mind (Maahi’s brother).
PART 3: Maahi is currently happy with her job and life. Not exactly what she was used to but still! She has recently developed interest in baking cupcakes and never hesitates to try something new. She is such a perfectionist in her job that everyone around her also love what she does. Then she met Siddhant. He was a regular customer at Cosy Coffee. Slowly and steadily they started liking each other. And then gradually, their love grows, for which you need to read the story as I don’t want you to abuse me for killing the suspense. Maahi is struggling to divert her mind to her studies but she is helpless. Now, she doesn’t really want to study. She wants to open a bakery shop with Laila but how? With so many ups and wons in her life, where her parents aren’t supporting her, will she be able to cope up with all these hassles? Well!! For that, you need to jump on to the next part.

PART 4: Maahi and Laila are all set to open their own bakery shop, and for that they are working hard; very hard. This part showcases all the ups and downs both these ladies share while they are trying to pitch various organisations for funding and other stuff. Also, some cosy and romantic moments with Siddhant, which are beautifully written by Nikita. And this part also includes a twist in Maahi’s life, for which you need to read the book. Because, if I’ll write the entire suspense in these parts, then what you are going to read? But to be on a good side, Maahi and Laila looks promising with their new venture. Additionally, Maahi’s parents are so proud of her at this point of time, which again acts like a booster in her life. But hey! The last part is yet to come! Scroll down to read that, cheers!
PART 5: The last and the final part of the book tells you about Maahi’s situation, which is getting to its negative side with every flipping page. She is confused about what to do? She is not sure about Siddhant either. She is looking a place to hide and lock herself for some time. She doesn’t want to be connected with the world and she even doubt to accomplish her dream to open a bakery shop with Laila. This part will be an interesting one to read as it unfolds many different aspects. It binds up not ona very happy note but it feels better to see that Maahi is happy. She is with those human beings, who trust and love her unconditionally.
In totality, I think it is a good read and will be a nice collection to your library. Though, I wish it should have a happy ending because at the end, let us see, Maahi is not happy. Yes, she is successful and is doing she loves to do but then in the journey of life, you need to person to hold your hand and let you know how much he/she loves you. Other than this, I completely love the work of Nikita. She has done a beautiful job and showcased romantic scenes very nicely.
Rating: 4/5
