TAANDAV (Short Movie): Review

You can fight with the world but one thing with which you can't find is loneliness. A feeling when you are so frustrated with life that you almost forget to live freely as you must have at least once in your lifetime. This particular feeling has been depicted very well by Devashish Makhija in his new short movie called as 'TAANDAV'.

The lead role has been played by one of the fine actors in Bollywood, it is none other than Manoj Bajpayee. He is playing the role of a Head Constable and his name in the movie is Tamble. In the movie, it is been showcased how he is going through all the tensions and hardship. From his own family to his job, he just had enough of life and want to open his feathers to fly away up in the sky.

The name of the movie is to the point. For Tamble, the life is like a TAANDAV only, where he is digging inside the negativity. He is depicting a personality of a common man, who has a normal life but one point he becomes so fed up with life that he loses all his consciousness. The movie is filled with different themes, which further tells you a story of a common man. The duration of this movie is just 11 minutes, in which the elements of survival, corruption and moral you learn from life.

And there is no doubt in telling you that Manoj Bajpayee has acted tremendously awesome. He engraved in the character so well that you will enjoy his acting to the fullest. The character he played is concerned about his family. His girl, who wants to study but the principal ask him to pay 5000 rupees for the same. His wife is never happy with him as he never spends time with him.

When it comes to movies, we just can't forget about the music. Music is the heart and soul of a movie. Nucleya created a bang on track for this movie, which clearly showcases the real TAANDAV. As the person involved in it is a local person, the sound track has to be of the same family. The track has full filled this desire very well.
