ASMI: Asmi is a girl who lives a good life but is always running after something. She a perfect woman and a perfect human being for anybody, but when it comes to herself, she is always lost. She is searching for a perfect life with the person, who loves her like no one has ever loved. She dreams of people who are always making her drown towards negativity. But at the same time, there is someone out there who wants to uplift her in a positive way. That person wants her to look forward and chuck out all her worries of life from her mind.

SAGAR: Sagar is a man who is engraved with his miserable life and circumstances. He has to look after his family, as he belongs to a poor family. He struggles to touch the heights and make lives comfortable for his family but he ends up selling himself for the same. Though he never loved his wife but has to live with the reality. He is too searching for something every day. A thing which clarifies all his worries and solve the problems at once.

My take on the book 'LET GO OF ME': Ekta has used very quirky and simple words, which I always love authors to do. For a reader who has started reading, it is an important element to understand what he/she is reading. In the midst of miserable lives, she has beautifully portrayed a love story between 2 unknown persons.

Both Asmi and Sagar are just living their lives but of course they are not happy. They both are busy with their regular lives but somehow they feel attracted to each other. As Asmi is working on a high profile, Sagar tries to get in touch with her. This is not because he wants to use her but because the first day he say Asmi, he fell in love with her. Asmi has always been trapped by her senses in a negative way. She tries to get out of all kinds of negativity but her senses never allows her to do the same. Here is the time when Sagar enters to let her feel loved.

Both of them loves each other to the core but as they are bounded with their responsibilities, they are not allowed to take their relationship forward. At one point, Asmi boycotted herself from Sagar when she got to know that he used to sell himself to fetch money and status. But destiny was destined to bring them back!

They were together but not by soul. This book is a journey about these 2 love birds. This book showcases what ups and downs they went through and they helped each other to come out of negativity. It is a kind of lessons one learns from life. Frankly speaking, I was reading myself in this book. I could relate to each and every situation been portrayed by Ekta in this book.

I'd highly recommend you to give this book a read, you'll love it. I hope you enjoyed reading my review on this book. Do share your views and experiences in the comments below.
