Lakme Eyeconic (Blue): Review and Swatches

Hello everyone.
Hope you all doing great!

So as promised in previous posts that I will be writing a review on any of the product this week, so here I am. In today's post, I will be reviewing the very new and famous Lakme Eyeconic in blue color. There are more four other colors to choose from: grey, green, brown and white. I decided to stick on blue color as it will go with all colors and all types of outfits you were. The most interesting color that popped in is white shade. It looks super sexy on big eyes. You can try all the other colors and buy them on various online websites like jabongflipkart, etc. You can see the swatches of all other shades on google.

I bought this shade as soon as it was introduced in India and was available in local beauty supply stores.

LAKME IN BRIEF: Lakme is an Indian brand cosmetics, owned by Unilever. Lakme also started its new business in the beauty industry by setting up Lakme Beauty Salons all over India. Now Hindustan Unilever Limited has about 110 salons all over India providing beauty services. Lakme has been ranked as 47th most trusted brand in India by The Brand Trust Report. The company is the title sponsor for Lakme Fashion Week. Lakme also contains wide range of awesome products especially made keeping in mind the Indian beauties and their skin type.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT: As far as this eyeconic product is concerned, I am falling in love with it as the results came out to be just awesome. You can use this stick as both kajal and eye liner. And at the end, you will be really satisfied with the product.

THE STICK: It is very easy to use this stick and works really great. It gives a really fine finish to your eyes and needs just two strokes for a powerful and bold look.

  • On the lower lid, draw a neat stroke, starting from the inner corner of the eye and extending outwards.
  • Repeat on the upper lid if you want to apply it as an eye liner.
  • Ensure that the tip is smooth and rounded for even application.
  • For a super dramatic look, use along with a mascara.
  • Wipe with a cotton pad soaked in any makeup remover.
  • Wash your entire face with a face wash.
  • Apply your regular cream and done.
PACKAGING: The packaging is kept simple in a plastic stick which is easy to hold and apply it on your eyes. And the body on which the initials of the brand are been inserted with the specialties of the product. The stick is packed inside the cover as you can see in the second image below.

The eye made at the bottom adds more attraction as it shows the boldness of the product.

QUANTITY: 0.35 grams

PRICE: INR- Rs. 200 ($3.22)

SWATCHES: Now I would love to share some of the pictures with you all.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures of the swatches. ^_^

  • It does not smudge.
  • It is waterproof.
  • It has been dermatologically tested.
  • And maintains its boldness for 10 hours without any smudging problems.
  • It gives an awesome application only with 2 strokes.
  • It gives a sleek and good finish to your eyes.
  • Defines your eyes with a touch of elegance.
  • You can use this stick as both kajal and eye liner.
  • It should be added with more darkness and boldness to get a nice look in one stroke only.
  • You can't wear it for a complete day because you need to go for touch ups again and again.
RATING: 3.75/5

MY SUGGESTIONS: I think it is a good option if you want a bold look for 8-10 hours. Other than that, I don't think you can wear this product for a complete day or for office. This is because you need to go touch ups again and again after a limited span of time. But the good thing is it is available in many other shades and you can play around with eye makeup looks. You should give it a try for once.

As always thank you so much for taking out time and reading my blog post. I hope you liked it. Do share your views in the comments below. Have a nice day lovelies.
