Hello ladies, today I am here with a review. Today I am going to review about Oriflame's (cosmetics company) base and top coat.
ORIFLAME IN BRIEF: It was founded in the year 1967 by two brothers and their friend. This company is at the international peak at present and selling their products in more than 60 countries worldwide. The company is selling numerous products related to skin care, nail care, make up, and so on. And it is selling a product range of approximately 1000 products.
Recently I bought their new product which is related to nail care (it has not been included in the store till now so you have to wait a little ladies), and that is, "NAIL PAINT BASE AND TOP COAT". Lets have a look!!
ABOUT THE PRODUCT: This product can be used as both base and top coat. Overall, it is a nice product and I will discussing about this polish firstly as the base coat and then as a top coat.
BRUSH: The brush is very soft and you do not have to struggle again and again to load the brush with the polish. Just a coat is more than enough to seal your nail paints or your nail art designs.
QUANTITY: 8 ml

AS A BASE COAT
As you can see in the above image, I have applied this polish as the base coat. And you can see my nails are looking fresh and so shiny. According to me, this polish serves as the base coat perfectly and I would like to recommend to all the nail art lovers to try it out once.
PROS:
- dries fast within few seconds (maximum 1-1.5 minutes)
- gives a shiny look to your nails
- brightens your nails (if your nails are slightly yellow)
- content is healthy
- price is reasonable
- recommended
CONS:
- might be slightly expensive (outside India)
RATING as a base coat: 4.5/5
AS A TOP COAT
Well if I had to talk about this polish as a top coat, so I would say that it really did a fair job. It is a good product that dries fast but I liked the results when I applied it as a top coat. You can try it out as a top coat as well. It gives a sleek look and shine to the nails very well.
PROS:
- dries fast within seconds
- gives a glossy finish to the nails
- you require just one coat to seal the design
- looks elegant
CONS:
- best results as base coat rather than a top coat
RATING as a top coat: 3.75/5
MY SUGGESTIONS: I think I am satisfied more with this polish when using as a base coat rather than as a top coat. But you will be happy if you using it in either ways, you will be satisfied and happy with this product.
